Board is for project-level discussion. Use it when the update belongs to the project, not one specific row.

- General status updates
- Questions that affect many records
- Shared files or references for the whole project
- Threads that need replies but do not belong under one row
Board features
- Posts and replies
- Images and file attachments
- Mentions and reactions
- Pinned messages
- Read and unread state
- Board access settings separate from general project membership
- Display width and media settings
Board versus notes
If the update is about one row, put it in that row’s notes. If it affects the whole project or many rows, use Board.
