Public project links
Share a whole project through one link, exactly as you arranged it: choose the workspaces, the visible columns, whether visitors can post or create records, and how fast.
What a public project link is
A public project link opens the project for anyone who has the link, showing the Table and any other workspaces you include. It is the right tool when a client, a community, or a class needs the whole picture rather than one record. Only admins can turn it on, from Edit Project → Share Publicly.
What you control
- Viewer, or Editor for signed-in visitors; people who are not signed in can never write
- Visible columns; new links start with money, number, and formula columns turned off
- Whether visitors can post notes and replies, and which fields they may edit
- Whether visitors can create new records
- Which workspaces are shared: Table always, plus Cards, Board, Picrowd AI, and Whiteboard
Creation pace
When visitors may create records, a pace preset limits how fast: Careful allows 10 per person and 40 per project in a rolling 24-hour window with a 30-second gap, Balanced 25 and 100 with 15 seconds, and Busy 75 and 300 with 5 seconds. Custom lets you adjust those limits; created records still count toward the project owner’s plan.
Participants
Signed-in visitors appear in a participant list where an admin can ban and unban them. Everything a visitor does is attributed to their account.
Before sharing a project
- Hide columns that hold internal or financial detail
- Decide whether the Board conversation should be visible to outsiders
- Start with Viewer and add editing later if it is needed
- Rotate or turn off the link when the engagement ends
