Public records
Public records expose one selected record through a public-facing page with controlled permissions.
What a public record is
A public record is a focused page for one record. It is useful when someone outside the workspace needs a clean page with selected information, notes, or files. The link is off by default; turn it on from the record’s share options, choose Viewer or Editor, and pick the visible columns.
Good uses
- Client review for one item
- A simple public or semi-public record page
- Outside feedback around one deliverable
- A narrow intake or review flow tied to one record
Important boundary
A public record exposes one record with controlled permissions. If someone needs the broader workflow, use a public project link, which shares a whole project with the workspaces and columns you choose, or invite them as a collaborator.
Before publishing
Picrowd counts anonymous and signed-in views separately so you can see whether a link is being used. Public links have a share preview image when posted in chat apps.
