Search and keyboard flow

Search, filters, and shortcuts help users move through large projects without losing context.

Search finds more than field values

Search matches field values, resolved person and company names, status and flag labels, and the text of notes. This makes notes useful for recall, not only for reading inside an opened row.

In the Table you can simply start typing: any letter jumps to the search box. Press / or \ to focus it deliberately.

Filters and views reduce noise

Large projects become usable when people stop looking at everything at once. Use the status filter, tags, grouping, and saved views for active work, waiting work, review queues, and completed records.

Keyboard flow

The full list is in Keyboard shortcuts.

  • Use quick row creation (Shift + N) when adding data in the middle of work
  • Move with the arrow keys, open with Enter, expand with Shift + Enter
  • Use the expanded record view when a row needs more room
  • Undo a change with Cmd/Ctrl + Z
  • Use search before manually scanning long project lists

Mouse and trackpad

  • Cmd/Ctrl-click toggles a row in a selection; Shift-click selects a range
