Workspaces

The seven workspaces

They are all surfaces for the same rows, notes, and files. Changing a status in Cards changes it in Table; moving a ping in Timelines moves it in Calendar and on the record.

Workspace / Best for

Table / Dense record work: scanning, editing, sorting, grouping, and columns

Cards / Stage-based work: drag cards between status columns

Calendar / Everything dated by day, week, month, or year; create and move pings

Timelines / One row per record with its pings as bars on a time axis

Board / Project-level conversation, files, and links

Whiteboard / A visual canvas for planning, review, and linked records

Picrowd AI / Summaries, questions, proposed changes, automations, memory, and tools

Defaults

A new project shows Table, Calendar, Timelines, Board, and Picrowd AI. Cards and Whiteboard are available but hidden until you turn them on, so a simple project does not start with tabs nobody uses.

Manage workspaces

The workspace switcher has a manage menu where you reorder the tabs, show or hide each one, and set the layout to Flexible or Locked. At least one workspace always stays visible.

• Flexible: each person keeps their own order and set of visible tabs
• Locked: everyone sees exactly the layout the admin chose; hidden workspaces are unavailable to other members while locked
• Admins can still preview a hidden workspace without showing it to the team

Access per workspace

Board, Whiteboard, and Picrowd AI each have their own member list in addition to the project roles, so a person can take part in the Board conversation without being able to edit the Table, or use AI without seeing the Whiteboard.

On a phone

The bottom bar has at most five slots. When the visible workspaces and Manage workspaces need more room, the first four workspaces stay visible and the fifth slot becomes More. If you open a workspace from More, it takes that fifth slot; tap it again to reopen the sheet.
